I have 2 rabbits one is a REX breed the other is a Mini-lop . I am always looking for new brushes to try out on my girls . When I saw this brush I had to try it out it is different from any of the other I own. I am always brushing my girls at least once a day the REX is always shedding and unlike dogs and cats, rabbits are unable to throw-up the hair the ingest so they go into what is called "G.I. Stasis" it is very bad and can kill the rabbit if not caught and treated right away. I mainly tried the brush out on my REX bunny since she is the one I'm always brushing plus she likes to get brushed where my mini-lop is not much of a fan.
The brush has two kinds of sides the one side is a stainless De-Shedding blade which easily grabs and removes loose hair from pet's undercoat with cutting the hair in the process. The other side consists of a Rake Brush which quickly and safely removes and remaining loose hair while smoothing the pet's coat.
I mainly stuck with the De-Shedding blade with my bunny she seemed to like that one better. The I think was to rough on her skin. What I liked about the brush was that I didn't need to put any pressure on the brush to get it to work which is really nice since brushing a bunny can be difficult .
Overall using the brush was a great experience for both my bunny & I . This will be a brush I will telling the Rabbit Rescue Friends about it is worth the purchase plus I will let my friends with dogs and cats know about it also .
I have included some picture of me brushing my bunny so you can see how much hair the brush picked up from brushing my bunny.
